Why do active systems use a frequency band that is between
the HF and the UHF band ??
What is the reason for selecting a frequency of say 300-400
MHz?
Also passive RFID has the EPC standards , are there any
standards which are being implemented by Active RFID
vendors?
I have heard of the Class 3 & 4 standards for Active RFID
but have not come across any vendor who is offering a
standard-compliant hardware.
